The Department of Mathematics and Physics “Ennio De Giorgi” of the University of Salento is located in Lecce, on the University’s Ecotekne campus, in the Via per Arnesano area. (map)

The closest option is the airport Brindisi - Papola Casale (BDS), 40 km away from the city.

From/to Brindisi airport
There are some transfer option to reach the city center of Lecce from Brindisi airport.
A direct train from Brindisi to Lecce station takes approximately 30 minutes. You can buy your ticket here. To catch the train, you’ll first need to reach Brindisi railway station by bus. From/to Bari airport
You can reach Bari railway station either by bus (line 16 – see timetable here) or by train. From Bari, take a direct train to Lecce, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Train tickets can be purchased here.
By train
Lecce is easily accessible via Italy’s national railway network. The Lecce train station offers direct connections to major cities, with both high-speed and regional trains running frequently. The station is conveniently located, just 10 to 15 minutes from the city center.
